Step 3 · Artwork
Your artwork
Upload one file per side (Front and Back are both required): PDF, JPG, PNG or TIFF. Size each file to the trim size plus 0.125" bleed on every side (e.g. 8.5x14 = 8.75" x 14.25"). Images should be 300 DPI. Keep text 0.125" inside the trim line.
Design must-haves
QR code on BOTH sides for customers to scan
Phone number on both sides
Business address on both sides
Leave clear space for the USPS EDDM indicia (postage block) and the EDDM Postal Customer address block on the mailing side, per USPS EDDM requirements.
Print only: include a generic EDDM indicia and the "Local Postal Customer" (ECRWSS) box in your artwork. See USPS EDDM guidance.
Back (mailing side): leave the top-right 2" x 2" area blank. Production prints the postage imprint there. Keep it plain white with no text, photos, colors or logos, measured from the trim edge. Leave room below it for the mailing address. We check this when you upload.
Proof lines: red = trim, blue dashed = safe zone. The bleed is the area outside the red line, and it gets cut off. Your browser checks the files, and our production team reviews them again before printing.
Your artwork has warnings or problems.Upload a new file that passes, or pick one of the options below.

Step 4 · Review & Pay
Your details
Earliest in-home date: up to 16 days after Production approves your artwork. Your date is confirmed only after payment and artwork approval.
The map uses your business address to pick routes around you.
Restricted content: USPS rules limit what can be mailed or advertised by mail. For example, ads for marijuana/THC products (federally controlled) can't be mailed, and tobacco, vape, alcohol, firearms and other items have mailing limits. See USPS Publication 52. Political mail needs the required "paid for by" disclosure. USPS itself may reject non-mailable pieces; making sure your content is mailable is your responsibility.
Is this political or election mail?*
Political mail is anything about a candidate, party, election, ballot question, or issue campaign. Please answer either way.
Our team reviews every political order before it prints. Ballots and official mail from an election office can’t be ordered here. Please call 313-217-7468.
Election Mail logo: USPS reserves the Official Election Mail logo for election officials (ballots, voter registration, polling notices). Campaign mail may not use it. Please do not put it, or any USPS logo, on your artwork. We mark your mailing as political mail with Production so USPS can identify it. This does not change postage or delivery times.
USPS Marketing Mail has no guaranteed delivery date, so plan extra time before election day. Political mail pays regular postage rates.
Form W-9 (optional, requested for business orders)
Ordering for a business? We ask for a completed, signed W-9. You can still submit your order without it, and our team will follow up. Blank IRS Form W-9 (PDF).
Sent only with your order. Not saved in your browser.
Tax-exempt purchase? Please contact us before ordering. Tax-exempt status cannot be applied until we verify it, which can take up to 30 days with the state. [email protected] · 313-217-7468
Submit your order and we email you a secure payment link. Price and dates are confirmed once paid in full, dates selected, and artwork approved by Production. Questions? Call 313-217-7468 or email [email protected].
